undpUNDP Zambia 

AfriCore was commissioned by International IDEA of Sweden and UNDP Zambia to evaluate and assess the tripartite electoral process of the Electoral Commission of Zambia. The purpose of the review was to examine options to strengthen the ECZ and the election process. The underlying objective was to examine the strengths and weaknesses of the ECZ management and administration of the elections, and constraints that may have limited the ECZ in achieving its objectives.


UNDP Sierra Leone

AfriCore was contracted to conduct CIVIL REGISTRATION SCOPING MISSION. After conducting a status quo investigation the AfriCore team had to make recommendations for the issuance of a multi-purpose ID Card for the Sierra Le




AfriCore was contracted to supply tents and lights to the DRC Electoral Commission for the 2012 National and Provincial Elections.


Student Representative Council Elections

The University of Zululand contracted AfriCore to manage, administer and conduct an SRC election. This was a success after failed attempts for more than three years.


The Chairman of Africore is the prime mover of a proposal to reconstitute and revive the UZ Law Faculty. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor F. Mazibuko has formed a Law Review Committee led by a High Court Judge, a former student of the UZ Law Faculty.

The intended outcome is to rebuild the Law Faculty from its foundations to a distinctive centre of knowledge and a prestigious law training institution linked to other national and international law schools and institutes. The UZ Faculty has produced at least 3 Chief Justices of the new Republic; and many other distinguished jurists and law practitioners. The Law Faculty needs to be revived and enabled to continue its legacy of producing quality lawyers and jurists.

Coal of Africa Limited on behalf of the Makhado Colliery Community Consultative Forum contracted AfriCore to conduct elections in the affected mining community in Makhado, Limpopo.

Const_SAOffice of the Chief Justice

To review the administrative support role performed by the Department of Justice and to assess whether such role undermines the independence of the judiciary and to make appropriate recommendations. To examine other international models of judicial administration and the relationship between the judiciary and the state, and to draw lessons therefrom. To make appropriate recommendations related to the training of judges. To propose a structure for the governance of the judiciary and their link to the executive and other organs of state.
